Biography
Dr. McCabe specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of all retinal disorders. He graduated from Bowdoin College and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed his ophthalmology residency at New England Eye Center at Tufts University School of Medicine and his retinal fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. McCabe holds an academic position of Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Tufts Medical Center. He also provides specialized retinal care at Vitreo-Retinal Associates in Worcester.
Dr. McCabe has received numerous awards including the Charles J. Preefer Award for Excellence in Residency Training and Fellow of the Year Award at Wills Eye Hospital. He is the author of many articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as several text book chapters. He also lectures at national ophthalmology meetings.
Dr. McCabe sees patients in the Concord office of Lexington Eye Associates.
