Biography
Dr. Gabriella Velonias is a Lexington native. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Brandeis University, cum laude, where she studied biology and chemistry.
She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry and Masters in Vision Science from the New England College of Optometry, where she was awarded the presidential scholarship. She continued her training as a resident optometrist at the VA Boston Healthcare System. In 2021, she became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Her clinical training included internships at the Boston University Eye Associates, Boston Medical Center, South End Community Health Center, and the VA Boston Healthcare System.
Dr. Velonias joined Lexington Eye Associates in 2021. She provides comprehensive eye care including contact lenses, dry eyes, pre and post-operative care, and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease including cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.
