Biography
Dr. Thomas graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and received his master’s degree in environmental health sciences from New York University. He attended Stony Brook Medical School in New York and completed his internship at the Georgetown University Washington Hospital Center. He performed his ophthalmology residency training at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, where he was appointed co-chief resident. He has been an ophthalmologist in the Boston area since 2007.
Dr. Thomas is board certified in ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, New England Ophthalmological Society, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Massachusetts Medical Society.
Dr. Thomas specializes in small-incision cataract surgery. In the office, he sees patients for comprehensive eye care including diabetic and annual eye exams, as well as the diagnosis and management of a variety of conditions, such as dry eye, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration. He welcomes new patients in the Lexington and Concord offices of Lexington Eye Associates.
